the "Do" without the damage...the Divado {review & giveaway}

There's one thing that I can't be bothered to do in the morning and that is my hair. Why? Its just too much work. I have thick wavy hair that tends to get frizzy & puffy therefore most of the time I just put it up in a ponytail. I've tried to change it up over the years but I always go back to the ponytail. Any of my close friends will tell you I rarely have my hair down. Its not for a lack of trying to find the right hair products because as a beauty junkie I've tried my fair share of hair products and tools. To be honest its also a result of being a bit lazy with trying to style my hair. Last month I received an email about the Divado. I'll admit the idea of putting a silicon based hair tool in my hair had me a little hesitant to try. But I had nothing to lose and I also thought it would be a great tool to have when I wear my hair up for work. Glad I tried the Divado!

There are two different Divado's; the Audrey (for that classic sophisticated'do) and the Brigitte (that extra bit of va-va-voom). I tried & tested the Audrey (now I'm lemming the Brigitte) and it really is easy to do. I wore it to work (great now my co-workers will know my secret) and loved the fact that a plain ponytail can easily be "dressed" up. No teasing & hair products necessary, although I did use a bit of hairspray but not out of necessity.

  2. the Bridgett in black! :)

    this is a great idea... i've always tried to get my hair to do the "bouffant" look, but it's just to thick and always falls apart, no matter how much i teased and hairsprayed!! ahhhh!! i hope i win, so my bouffant problem will be forever solved!

    thanks! :)

  3. i love the Bridgett (in black)!! this is a great idea!!

    i have always wanted to wear the "bouffant" but my hair is too thick and always falls apart no matter how much i tease or use hairspray :( this would forever solve my bouffant dilemma!! :)

    i hope i win! ;) thanks!!

  4. I could really use the Audrey in Black!!

  5. I love these, they look so easy to use! I have very curly, almost nappy hair & whenever I've tried to "bump" my hair in the past it's worse than a nightmare experience. Usually between the combs & the hairspray, & wind up with huge rat's nest that is almost impossible to get out!
    The Brigitte in black would work wonderful in my hair.

  6. What a marvelous prize giveaway contest! This would be so much fun to use and I love the slight, casual lift that it gives to hair. Please enter my name in your drawing for the Audrey in black.
    Many thanks.....Cindi

  7. This looks like it would be a lot easier and work better than those "bumpits" I've seen advertised. I would love to try the Audrey in black.
