Vichy Normaderm Hydrating Acne Care {Review & Giveaway}

Vichy is one of those skincare lines that seldom disappoints and they have answered my prayers with their latest product. Vichy's Normaderm Hydrating Acne Care is an oil-free moisturizer that is light weight, creamy gel texture, that actually hydrates but doesn't leave skin oily. As a woman in my mid-thirties I still get clogged pores and blackheads in the t-zone area and most products targeted towards acne related problems tend to be too watery and not hydrating enough so I end up layering too many products to get the results I want.
What makes this product so different and effective:
3 active ingredients

  • Salicylic Acid (a must for me) in a 1% strength, a great ingredient for unclogging pores
  • Glycolic Acid penetrates into the pores, stimulates skin regeneration, anti-bacterial properties
  • LHA which gently exfoliates the surface of the skin & stimulates regeneration, purifies the skin

A plus is actually works well under makeup, almost like a primer because it has a mattifying effect. The Vichy Normaderm Hydrating Acne Care will be a skincare staple this Fall in my beauty regime.

  1. My favorite acne-care moisturiser is Neutrogena oil-free for sensitive skin...but I would love to try something with glycolic acid in it - sounds amazing!

  3. I am dealing with adult acne now and I am currently looking for a favorite moisturizer. So I currently don't have one. I use to use ProActiv until it burnt my skin.

  4. I actually don't have an acne moisturizer right now. Currently using Clean and Clear with 2.5% Salicylic Acid for my acne spots. It'll be great to try a moisturizer that can help with acne :)

    Thanks for hosting this awesome giveaway!

  7. I have been using Cetaphil moisturizer since my dermatologist recommended their cleanser. I like it, but it is not specifically formulated to treat acne, and after 3 years, I think it is time to try something else.

  8. My favorite is Aveeno Clear Complexion Moisturizer.
