Live Clean has done it again! Affordable eco-friendly skincare packed with non-complicated ingredients. Being a big fan of their Live Clean Baby skincare I was more than happy to try their latest skincare addition, Fresh Face. A few winners and one not so winning product. As with all Live Clean products: paraben, phthalate, and phosphate free. Sulfate-free and DEA free. 98% plant-derived ingredients. And basically a great deal!
My favourite of the two:
Live Clean: Fresh Face refreshing Facial Wipes- Great for travel especially since I am back to working as a flight attendant. These are perfect for on-the-go, at work or after the gym. Or even to have at home as a pre-cleanse. Love the refreshing scent! Alcohol-free and oil-free. Added ingredients: their trademark Orchid-C Complex, Vitamin C, lavender, Cucumber, chamomile, milk thistle, mallow, aloe and buckthorn. 30 wipes $9.99
Live Clean: Fresh Face Hydrating Creamy Cleanser- a non-drying creamy cleanser. Love that my skin doesn't feel tight or dry after using this. For stubborn eye makeup I needed a seperate makeup remover. Otherwise, great at washing off the rest of my made-up face. Nice light scent and non-foaming. Slight suds. Contains: kaolin clay, vitamin C, orchid flower, lavender, cucumber, chamomile, milk thistle, aloe, and jasmine. 175ml $ 14.99
The least favourite item:
Live Clean: Fresh face 24 Hour Hydrating Day Cream- for me this day cream just didn't "sit" well on my combination skintype. I found that although it was creamy it didn't moisturize enough but in part because I found my skin didn't absorb it. Contains: orchid extract, vitamin C, lavender, cucumber, milk thistle, mallow, aloe and buckthorn. 150ml $19.99
