Beauty: Favourite looks from Toronto Fashion Week F/W'15

Toronto Fashion Week F/W 2015 feels like I blinked and it was over. Over the course of a chilly week, Toronto Fashion Week showed some of the best talent in Canada. Being that I love being backstage I picked a few of my favourite beauty looks that can be worn this Spring. For the most part, all the looks were wearable. Thanks to the amazing talented head makeup artist for Maybelline Canada, Grace Lee showcased how to achieve the looks. A few easy makeup tricks we can all do at home with just the right products. All products are Maybelline.

Pink Tartan: Get the Look
"The makeup for Pink Tartan is all about androgyny. By contouring the inner crease of the eye with colours from The Nudes Eyeshadow Palette, we kept the look edgy and a little more masculine."-Grace Lee

This look can be customized for Spring/Summer by adding a bit of bronzer to the cheeks with a peach coloured blush on the apples. Grace Lee, also brushed up the brows with clear Eye Studio Brow Drama.

Mikhael Kale: Get the Look
¨Not only does a pop of colour to the inner corner of the eye using lip colour create an unforgettable look, it's also a great way to use an everyday product in a different way.¨ -Grace Lee
This is a super easy way to add a punch of colour without changing your makeup routine that much. Just do your everyday look and add a colourful inner pop. Grace Lee used a lipstick to add colour but with so many bright cream eyeshadows on the market you can easily purchase an inexpensive shade and experiment.

Hayley Elsaesser: Get the Look
¨Hayley is fun to work with and we wanted the makeup for the show to reflect that. She loves patterns and colour. I added pops of colour under the eyes using Eye Studio Colour Tattoo 24hr Cream Gel Shadows and Baby Lips. Paired with a reverse ombre lip, this look is playful and a lot of fun- just like Hayley's collection.¨ - Grace Lee
This collection was definitely  colourful and somewhat reminded me of the 1990's and raving. Not obvious from looking at the above image, but, reminiscent of that decade. I just love the add of colour concentrated below the iris. Really fun look for Spring! The below image gives you a better idea.

Farley Chatto: Get the Look
¨I wanted the models to look like Royalty of a past era. I immediately envisioned black liner and a glossy red lip. To compliment that glamour, I created a natural toned smokey eye with colours from The Nude Eyeshadow Palette to add drama and dimension that still paired with perfectly with a high shine, vibrant lip.¨ - Grace Lee

I love a cool toned red lip, especially in the Spring and Summer months. Just a refreshing shade! Grace Lee used Colour Sensational Vivids in shade Fire Red topped with Colour Sensational High Shine Gloss in shade Gleaming Grenadine.
With so many great looks to choose from I picked the ones that would work now for Spring as these shows were for Fall/Winter 2015.

Any favourites that you can see yourself trying to recreate?
