Backstage Beauty: Day One at Toronto Fashion Week F/W'16

Toronto Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2016 is here! Hard to imagine Fall & Winter Collections when we're about to have Spring blooming. However, lucky for us beauty aficionados makeup trends can be all-Season. Sure, certain shades look better depending on the Season but in reality my philosophy is if you love it now use it. Black liner, stained lips and dark nails opened up day one of Toronto Fashion Week.
At Sid Neigum, clean sharp lines in black and white and nude lips were meant to echo the designer's collection. Maybelline New York Canada,  lead makeup artist Grace Lee created the semi-matte look using new Maybelline products: Dream Velvet Foundation, Face Studio Master Contour Palette, and Colour Sensational Lipstick from the Loaded Bolds Collection in shade Nude
At Mikhael Kale, rocker chic and effortless makeup was the look. Maybelline New York Canada's lead makeup artist, Grace Lee, used a new lipstick from Colour Sensational: The Loaded Bolds in shade Chocoholic. Paired with a natural taupe eye using the new Master Contour Stick and Master Precise Skinny Gel Pencil.
As for nails, dark is back as seen at the Mikhael Kale show. Lead nail artist, Rita Remark for Essie Canada used Essie nail polish in shades: After School Boy Blazer and Stylenomics.
