I just realized that I review alot of mascaras! Next on the list is L'Oreal Telescopic Explosion Mascara, which is not available in Canada yet (November 2009). What makes this mascara different than others, the unique round spiked ball wand. Yes, Givenchy Phenomen'Eyes Effet Extension also has a round spiked ball wand but I've never tried that one & at $28 usd don't plan to anytime soon. Back to L'Oreal Telescopic Explosion, I'm neutral with this mascara. I neither hate or love it! Pro's: ability to precisely define lashes, lashes are separated beautifully, and lashes are lengthened. Con's: can get clumpy if you go over lashes too many times. Time consuming and quite frankly kind of annoying. I know that sounds silly! Literally it took way to long to apply this mascara & that's the reason for the neutral rating. With other mascaras on the market that provide what I want; define, volume, no clumping, no smudging & quick effortless application I won't be purchasing this one. Sorry L'oreal you have way better choices in your mascara selection! Although its a neutral rating I'll let my readers decide. Have any of your tried the L'oreal Telescopic Explosion Mascara? i havent tried this but i have used the givenchy one, i think it does take a long time but you can really target every lash haha but the givenchy one smudged like crazy on me [not waterproof? no idea]
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried it, but will - it looks too funky to pass up. I'll make sure to leave an extra 20 minutes or so for application time, though - ha!
